Provided that flights are registered 24 hours in advance, Twente Airport is open for business aviation traffic the whole year round from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time) on condition that it is bright during that period.
So from 15 minutes before sunrise to 15 minutes after sunset. From the end of 2017, it will also be possible to take off and land outside daylight hours. This is because Twente Airport will then have a GNSS satellite navigation procedure.
General aviation air traffic from other airports can also use Twente Airport from Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (local time) provided that flights have been registered 24 hours in advance and it is within the daylight period. Please note that there are sometimes other activities at the airport and that the airport is then closed.
The airport is closed every year on 25 and 26 December and on 1 January.
