Twente Airport contributes to excellent accessibility from the eastern Netherlands to the rest of Europe.

Flying via charter or private jet saves time and effectiveness. Twente Airport connects aviation-related activity and business aviation from the eastern Netherlands to the rest of the world.

In addition to business air traffic, there is recreational flying by members of the Vliegclub Twente and the Twentsche Zweefvliegclub. Other general aviation air traffic can also visit Twente Airport.

Flight Information

If you want to fly to and from Twente, you must apply at least 24 hours in advance at ppr@twente-airport.nl.
Make sure your PPR application contains at least the following information: aircraft registration, aircraft type, pilot name, departure airport, arrival/departure date and time, operator (if applicable).

Electric flying

The nearly three-kilometer long runway, the relatively quiet airspace and the facilities around it, offer every opportunity to test and further develop innovations in the field of sustainability in aviation safely in practice at an early stage.

Thanks to the rapid development of battery technology and the availability of renewable energy, together with other parties affiliated with Electric lying Connection (EFC), we are helping to ensure that a significant proportion of traditional fossil fuel flights of up to 1,000 km can be replaced by electric flying in the future.
