Fly-in on March 30 for fliers and fans!

On Friday, March 30 (Good Friday), Twente Airport celebrates its 1st anniversary!

We want to celebrate this in a way that suits us: small-scale, informal and welcoming. Therefore, we will organize a mini Fly-in that day and at the same time an afternoon for our biggest fans: "plane spotters and aviation photographers".

 The program is as follows:

  • 12.00-14.00 hours arrival participants mini Fly-in
  • 14.00-16.00 hrs informal gathering of pilots and fans
  • 16.00-17.00 departure participants mini Fly-in

There is no landing fee to be paid.

There is room for a maximum of 30 aircraft during the mini Fly-in. We try to bring as many different types of aircraft as possible to Twente Airport.  In case of great interest we will make a selection.

Coffee/tea/cake is free of charge.

Hot snack is available for a fee.

Between 14.00 and 16.00 there will be an opportunity to visit AELS (Aircraft-End-of- Life- Solutions). This company has established itself at Twente Airport and dismantles and de-assembles aircraft that are economically written off.

Registration is possible for pilots by signing up at

Spotters who want to come (maximum 30) can send an email to

Hope to see you on March 30!
