The Fly-in at Twente Airport is fast approaching. The preparations are going well. Friday, March 30, between noon and 2 p.m., we expect to greet some 30 single-engine aircraft at our first birthday party. There will be a wide variety of aircraft types. The (general aviation) aircraft will come from Teuge, Lelystad, Drachten, Hoogeveen, Rotterdam and Genk-Zwartberg. We do not publish a list of aircraft to be expected because that list changes daily. Also due to weather conditions we may have to deal with last minute changes or cancellations. So be surprised on Friday! One of the participants in the Fly-in is the ambulance plane of the Hoogvliegers Foundation. This sympathetic foundation flies with sick and disabled children. They will bring some merchandise goodies for sale, highly recommended!
