3 to 7 March: Unmanned Systems Exercise Royal Netherlands Army

From 3 to 7 March, the Basic Integrator exercise will take place at Twente Airport and other locations. The Royal Netherlands Army will train with unmanned systems over parts of the provinces of Overijssel and Drenthe.

During the exercise, operators will train to make longer flights over long distances with the unmanned systems X-300 Integrator (drone), RPAS Puma and Skyranger. The flights will depart from Twente Airport and from the Emmen and Hardenberg area.

This exercise is necessary to prepare operators and ground personnel for future deployments and missions in the Netherlands and in foreign theatres of operation.

Flights will take place at the following times:

  • 3 March from 13:00 to 20:00;
  • 4 March from 8:00 to 17:00;
  • 5 March from 8:00 to 20:00;
  • 6 March from 14:00 to 7 March 8:00.
