Next Sunday, September 16, Technology Base's open house will take place. Part of the open day is an airshow from 13.30-14.30 hours. For a limited number of plane spotters, a separate spotter corner will be created on the Twente Airport grounds, near the runway and taxiway.

The spotter corner will be open from 13.00-15.00 hours.

Aircraft spotters and aviation photographers who want to use the spotter corner should do two things:

  1. Register for the Technology Base open house at www.meetthefuture.nu. If you haven't already done so, please do so immediately because full = full! Note: You can only enter the grounds of Technology Base if you have pre-ordered a ticket for the Open Day. You can only reach the Technology Base on the Open Day by shuttle bus or by bike. So NOT by car or on foot.
  2. Send an email (stating 'spotterscorner' in the subject line) to info@meetthefuture.nu with your name, age, place of residence and email address.

You can sign up for the spotter corner until Monday, September 10. A confirmation with further instructions will be sent by email on or about Thursday, September 13. The email is also your ticket to the spotter corner, so bring it with you.

For safety reasons, on September 16:

  • the entire nature reserve south of the runway is closed from 09.00 to 15.00 and prohibited area. This also applies to the Spottershill
  • the Weerseloseweg - Vliegveldstraat is temporarily closed to all traffic between 13.00 and 15.00 hours.

For information about the open day and airshow, visit www.meetthefuture.nu.
