Another KLM Boeing 747 will land at Twente Airport at the end of January.

Another KLM Boeing 747 will land at Twente Airport at the end of January. The aircraft will be flown to Twente for dismantling. The aircraft will be flown to Twente. KLM is phasing out its Boeing 747 fleet in the coming years. The aircraft will be replaced by more fuel-efficient twin-engine aircraft.

On December 6, 2017, KLM already flew a 747 from Schiphol Airport to Twente. The aircraft will be dismantled by Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions, which dismantles aircraft and sells the parts. See also UpinTheSky's news release.
