Nordic Aviation Capital stalls 5 aircraft at Twente Airport

Twente Airport and aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital have signed a contract for the long-term parking of five Embraer 175 aircraft. The first aircraft arrived Saturday, Oct. 9, and the remaining four are expected next week, if weather conditions are good.

The aircraft were previously in use by Alitalia. The lease term has expired and the aircraft will remain parked at Twente Airport until a next lease contract is signed.

"Very nice that this contract has been concluded. It fits perfectly with Twente Airport's future plans. Aircraft parking in combination with simple maintenance work is one of the pillars for a healthy exploitation of Twente Airport," said director Jan Schuring.

More parking space remains at the airport. Aircraft of this size can land and take off from Twente Airport without restrictions.
