Ton held various managerial positions with the municipality of Enschede. He also worked for the same municipality in the role of program manager for the reconstruction of Roombeek. He was also program manager for Culture, Events and City Marketing and for the introduction of the Environment Act.
"I am happy to be that Ton will do this at our request. I wish him every success with his interim position. I am confident that he will bridge the period in a good way until the structural filling of this director position,” said Jeroen Diepemaat (chairman of Technology Base).
Soon the GR will start the recruitment for this position.
