Second A340 landed at Twente Airport!

We had to wait a while for it today, but around 16:00 the first A340 of Air France landed at Twente Airport.

We had to wait a while for it today, but around 16:00 the first A340 of Air France landed at Twente Airport. The aircraft will be disassembled by AELS in the coming weeks. The aircraft bears the registration F-GLZI. It is an aircraft built in 1995. Air France is replacing the A340-300s with the modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Next Monday we expect another Airbus 340 at Twente Airport and on Wednesday a KLM Boeing 747.

AELS first brought a widebody aircraft to Twente for dismantling in April 2017. This was an A340 that previously flew for SWISS. A KLM Boeing 747-400 already landed in Twente at the end of 2017.
